New Live Time Table
Regular DanceSport competitors and spectators would be familiar with the DanceSportLive 'LIVE' Time Table, a feature that provides a constantly updated Running Order/Time Table throughout the competition.
Essentially the Scrutineering System recompiles the Time Table after each event is scrutineered taking into account any changes that have been made. Sometimes events are added or removed, sometimes the number of heats required change as well as the number of competitors that may be recalled to the next Round, all these changes are taken into account. A new file is then automatically uploaded where it can be viewed via the DanceSportLive.net site keeping everyone on the same page.
This LIVE system has had a make over just in time for the Australian Championships providing more information about each event. Click on the name of any item in the Live Time Table and it will display the dances scheduled for the event and the number of couples to be recalled id it is a Round. This data is drawn directly from the Scrutineering System and is the same data that the Adjudicator's Tablets see. Of course the Adjudicator's Tablets can be updated instantly during an event where as the Live time Table has to wait until the next event is processed.
